The Right of a Woman (or girl)

Principessa #1 is going to be a great woman. She is very good at that secret art that drives all men crazy. The art of changing our minds whenever we feel like it. So she started out wanting to be DORA - thus the get up.

Then at the JRC party, she sees wings and nothing will suffice but to be a butterfly.

Which, by the way, she wore 2 years ago and hated as evidenced here...

But then on the DAY OF, she saw this at the store, and insisted...

and since it was 50% off, I agreed,

that she could be just like Bug a BOO.

Home Economics

I have always tried to be a diligent student. I wasn't perfect. One of my earliest realizations of that fact came from my home economics class in Jr. High. I was reminded the other day EXACTLY why I did not even come close to getting an A in that class...

I could not figure out why they were so sticky and flat...

PS - For those of you who may be wondering, Principessa #1 is getting better - only a cough and slight fever. However, Principessa #2 now has a fever of 102- Round 2 here we come!!

For the record

We've done lots of fun things these last few weeks... But, I'm behind on too many things so you can see some of them here although most of the pictures are not of my children. If you want to see my kids, let me know and I'll send pixs via email.

I do need to say that Nona started preschool and loves it. She's also talking lots, although some of it is in spanish and requires DORA to translate it.

Bug a Boo ALMOST has 2 teeth, is holding steady at 21 lbs. (down to 75%!), 29.5 in. (down to 90%) and is still off the charts for her head size. (Now I know why I have such a hard time getting some of her shirts on...) She also can sport some cute piggy tails!

In other news, Turtle almost became a member of the household.

(I know this pix is bad, but at least in the big version you can see the 1st TOOTH!)
