Eyes

I am amazed that I have a daughter with such brown eyes and another with blue (at least for now). The photos show some fun things we did in ID and at home. Nona got to hold and pet a bear. She named the bear "Nonie's bear". Cora didn't get to hold the bear, but she did get a fun headband!

And for the record -

Nona weighed in at 16 lbs 8 oz and was 25 3/4 in. long at 6 months.

Cora weighed in at 16 lbs 13 oz and 25 in. long at 4.8 months.

No wonder my back hurts!!

Prize

Terry got prizes for us when we returned from Idaho.  Nona loved hers!!

Clay

So this isn't the greatest picture, but it shows our project of the other day.  Clay animation!  Well, not animation really.  Snowman... made in Idaho and transported back to KS.  A train... of course.  And Nona's latest obsession... DINOSAUR!  Thank you Legends mall and your dinosaur skeleton.  Now, my daughter wants more dinosaurs!!!

Double Trouble

Sometimes, with 2 kids, it really is double the trouble... Like when they both have explosions at the same time... Or when they are both sick at the same time... Or when you have to "do their hair"... With a baby you would think I wouldn't have to worry about hair, but as you have seen from previous posts, Cora has her hair problems already. Well, and she has pigtails! Bath time with 2 is something crazy as well. Picture time isn't what it used to be either. I have thousands of pictures of Nona. Not so many with Cora. Lately, if I take a picture of Cora, I have to take one of Nona. You can see the results below...

The long and short of it

We saw cousin Aliya the other day...  Let's just say Cora is shorter and FATTER!  I mean look - the poor girl has no neck!

Wall*e

So Nona's latest obsession (beside Abe and Tilly) is WALL*E.  So the other day Dad built her WALL*E...  not once, not even twice, but about 5 times!  You see, Nona gets so excited she tries to pick him up and he falls apart...  I have a super cute video of her talking to WALL*E, but it won't load.  Guess pixs will have to do!

One last note - Hurray for the STEELERS!!!!

FROM ETSY

THIS ENTRY IS SEPARATE AND APART FROM THE PREVIOUS ENTRY...

What I saw on ETSY...

Pay it Forward
I signed up over here to get in on the "Pay it Forward" fun.

Don't you just love doing something un-expected for someone? I do ... and for me, it's even more fun to make and give something.

So ... if you want to join in the fun and get a little something in return ... be one of the first THREE people to leave a comment on this post and you'll receive a hand made gift from me during this year. There's a small catch...You knew there would be didn't you? Post this on your blog (or Facebook* wall if you don't blog) referencing this Knitty Bitties post then come back and leave a comment, telling me you're in. Fun, huh? And by in, you do know that means you have to Pay It Forward and give something to three people on your blog or Facebook page. I don't even care if you make something ... just giving something is good with me!

Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift from me. When and what will be a surprise ... but I will tell you that I have 2 of the gifts cut out and ready to sew, so they will be happening sooner than later ... and the other should be done in the next month :). SO yes, you'll really receive your something and no, it won't be 364 days from now :).

**Speaking of Facebook, Knitty Bitties now has it's own page ... be a fan ... you'll be able to keep up on specials, discounts, promos, bazaars and maybe just win yourself a little something sometime :) **

Happy Creating!
