So Nona has lately become obsessed with trains - Thomas The Train in particular. Actually, I think in her mind no train is as great and wonderful as Thomas. The title of any train book is Train Train Train, which she will always announce as she opens the book to the first page. We were in the store one day and happened to walk past the toy train aisle. Fortunately, we escaped with the cheapest Thomas they had. That Thomas has hardly left Nona's hand since. The other night, Terry showed her how her crib could be Thomas' railroad...

Wow! What a cutie. We went through the train stage, too. Whatever you do, do NOT get the Thomas movie with Alec Baldwin. It is seriously so badly written it's almost painful to watch. A bad, bad choice on our part, since we (mostly me) ended up watching it about 50 times. Ugh. The regular tv episodes are so much better. (Especially the ones with Ringo--)

Y'all can come play trains at our house any time! Brendan and Isaac are expert train track builders and I think we have about a million Thomas & friends engines. She is absolutely adorable. I hope you are feeling okay as you approach THE LAST MONTH!

Nona is so stinking cute! Aiden also loved trains like crazy, especially Thomas. What is it about Thomas the train and little kids? He must be very likeable. Good job on getting a blog.
Wow, I was a little surprised to see that Nona loves Thomas. David is obsessed with him too! They must be twins.
Just to jump on the bandwagon (and since I have no kids of my own yet), I once babysat a kid obsessed with Thomas, and my little bros were way into him too way back when...who wouldn't like a train with a big ole face, right?
